When you want to get your career on the right track, engage the services of an experienced career coach. We cover more than just ‘how to get a job’. We will discuss how to grow your existing career or position, how to prepare for interviews and how to incorporate practical career management strategies to achieve the success you deserve! We want you to succeed.

How the Process Works:

Once we decide to work together, you’ll receive a Welcome Package containing an agreement and our policies and procedures, but here’s a summary of what you may expect:

• Together we will determine the frequency / pace at which you would like to work.
• We will look at the  Career Continuum to see where you fall – from assessment & self discovery, transition to career enhancement (growth/promotion, honing your interpersonal skills, etc.)
• We help you to understand your strengths and weaknesses, and design a vision for your career.

We will review self-marketing strategies such as:

• the job search process
• accessing the hidden job market
• professional resume and cover letter development
• salary and benefit negotiations
• informational interviewing & research
• follow-up

As with any type of coaching, it takes time for you to reach your goal. Therefore, your results will depend on personal need. Bear in mind that if you are changing careers, you cannot reasonably expect to do so after one or two sessions.

We guarantee, if you commit to the process and follow the action plan, you will be more confident, better equipped to face the challenges that come with job searching, or with a career change and you’ll be successful.

• I will observe, listen and ask questions to get an understanding of your situation.
• I will use questioning techniques that will help you to identify solutions and take actions that will take you closer to your goal.
• I will assist you in setting appropriate goals and we will determine how to assess your progress.
• I will encourage and challenge you to reach beyond your comfort zone.
• I will be honest with you without shaking your confidence, i.e. I’ll give you honest feedback because it’s necessary for your growth and success.
• I will encourage you to commit to an action plan, but ultimately you will be accountable to achieving your goals…and that’s not difficult because….YOU CAN DO IT!
• Client confidentiality is the cornerstone of any coaching relationship. As such, I will never share your information with anyone, unless you consent in writing.

Distance is not a problem as we work with clients from all over the world and we communicate through email, the Internet, Skype and phone.
