Daisy Wright

Certified Career Management Coach, Credentialed Career Manager, Certified Resume Strategist, Career Development Practitioner

I am founder and Chief Career Strategist at The Wright Career Solution a full-service career transition firm, providing job search coaching (resume design, interview preparation, career transition) to individuals within Canada, the US and International. For individuals in career transition and are uncertain about which path to take, I assist them in developing positive career management skills, improve their employability and enhance their self-esteem. I am often told that my positive “can do” approach inspires confidence in others.

I received the Certified Career Management Coach designation from Career Coach Academy. This 30-hour training is approved by the International Coach Federation. I have also been awarded the Credentialed Career Manager designation by Career Management Alliance. In addition, I hold a BA from Ryerson University, a Post-graduate Certificate in Career Development from Conestoga College and was recognized by the College as “A Graduate of Distinction”. I am an advisor with Career Professionals of Canada, and for two years, was the Career Advisor for CBC Radio Canada International’s The Link.

My corporate background is fairly wide and includes a stint with the United Nations in New York. Why is this important? There I learned what a formal classroom could not offer…an opportunity to meet, understand and work with people from a variety of cultures. I am a former instructor in the Faculty of Business at Sheridan College where I taught Business Communication and other courses.
